PROJECT IV Designing for Recreation
April 18, 2010
Becoming familiar with another state’s park was amazing. I visited Edmund Babler Memorial State Park located in Wildwood,MO. I gathered the necessary information in order to reproduce the state park identity system.
Not only a historical landmark but an undisturbed rich forested park.
Since 1935
CCC build twenty two structures with assistance from the WPA relief workers during the great depression.
It is in fact, a major historal movement in the twentith century and a great influence for all.

F.P.F.P III

Designing the pattern of the interior and exterior packaging was my favorite. From the stem to the gills and its top cap all of these areas have been modified to fit my design.
Mushroom slices were carefully shaped to produce a a more unified product.

After coming familiar with my object, I was able to construct a diagram in order to construct my model. After many days of struggle, I matched a packaging diagram to the one I build and was able to successfully adjust it and use it. My goal is not only to make a 3d mushroom but a functional one. Sounds like a challenge that needs to be breached.
Functioning Paper Food Packaging I
March 7, 2010
This will be interesting? In order to develop a functioning paper food packaging….
I will have to become a mushroom to know how it functions, right
A Portobello to be exact!
The following will be done to this poor old Portobello mushroom:
I will chop, dissect, cook, scan, throw, squeeze, burn, wet, freeze and chop- to keep it a short list
I will develop a number of designs, including a diagram and interior and exterior patterns
Any ideas, please do tell

Please feel free to glance at the final product. This information is on a 9 x12 custom made black book.
Materials used are all relevant towards the shark itself. As soon as I get my book, I will take pictures.

Stage VI
March 7, 2010
Each composition truly speaks loud and clear. I wanted to keep it simple, I wanted the design to speak for itself.
Everything reflects back to my shark design as an icon; An icon that has the capabilities to adapt to any giving condition, its like a puzzle that connects, somehow
